As a Road Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, inspection, and repair of specialized equipment directly at customer locations. You will act as a ambassador by delivering safe, efficient, and professional service interventions. Traveling to customer sites or job sites to perform service calls.
Carrying out repairs in accordance with quotes and within allocated time frames. Performing annual mechanical inspections and preventive maintenance. Completing repair, inspection, and preventive maintenance reports following the 2C method and attaching required photos.
Immediately reporting any discrepancies with the quote to the immediate supervisor. Communicating safety concerns to the immediate supervisor. Adding all necessary parts (taken from the truck inventory) to work orders for repairs not initially included in the quote.
Returning empty bins and unused parts to the parts department for inventory restocking. Managing and assisting with mobile unit inventory. Significant experience in construction equipment mechanics, heavy mechanics or agricultural mechanics.
Robust mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge. Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic diagrams. Evenings and weekends off.
