3D Geomatics looking for a motivated Survey Technologist to support a BC based Civil survey and Land Surveying firm. The Ideal applicant should have several years of experience and a solid understanding of the BC transportation industry (MoTI), land development, municipal, civil earthworks and engineering infrastructure projects. The ability to take and follow instructions from a Project Manager and/or client

- Perform survey project tasks and communicate in a clear and accurate manner
- Willing to learn new technologies and adapt to recent techniques
- Understand and comply with quality assurance and safety/environmental policies and procedures. A degree or diploma in Geomatics, Civil Engineering or similar from an industry recognized institution is preferred
- A minimum of 3-5 years of field experience in a Crew Chief role
- Ability to execute a variety of survey projects in an accurate, thorough and safe manner
- Willingness and ability to assist with training and mentoring of junior staff
- Ability to work unsupervised and able to occasionally travel to remote BC locations
- Proficient with computers, data collectors and related software applications;
