Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Telehealth Mental Health Professional. The qualified will conduct virtual assessments, provide evidence-based counseling or therapy, and develop care plans tailored to each individual’s needs. Daily responsibilities include managing an online caseload, documenting sessions in digital systems, coordinating follow-up care, and collaborating with other clinicians as needed.
The role involves monitoring client progress, supporting crisis situations within defined protocols, and using MantraCare’s AI-enabled tools to enhance care delivery and engagement. The position requires adherence to ethical standards, confidentiality,
and relevant regulatory guidelines across telehealth practice.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Mental Health Care and Mental Health support, including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing monitoring.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Psychology and applied psychological principles relevant to telehealth practice.
- Candidates should possess Case Management skills, including care coordination, documentation, and follow-up in a virtual care environment.
- Candidates should possess Crisis Intervention skills, with the ability to recognize risk, follow escalation pathways, and collaborate with local resources when necessary.
- Relevant licensure or certification as a mental health professional (e.g., counselor, psychologist, social worker, therapist) in applicable jurisdictions is strongly preferred.
- Experience providing telehealth or virtual counseling, with proficiency in using digital platforms and maintaining secure, compliant records, is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, cultural humility, and the ability to work with diverse populations across time zones are important.
- A master’s degree or higher in a mental health–related field (such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy) is advantageous.
