Posted Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 4:00 AM The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the coordination and management of all Human Resources Processes, programs and related activities for the Kitchener facility. Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers on HR policies, procedures, employee relations, and workplace issues. Support employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, coaching, corrective action, progressive discipline, conflict resolution, and performance management.

Manage or support full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, reference checks, offers, and onboarding. Coordinate new-hire orientation and ensure employees complete required employment documentation, policies, and training. Support payroll administration by reviewing employee changes, time and attendance information, vacation, leaves, and other payroll‑related documentation.

Administer employee benefits and assist employees with benefit, pension/RRSP, and other HR program inquiries. Support disability management, workplace accommodations, and return‑to‑work programs in collaboration with employees, management, benefit providers, and other stakeholders. Support training and development initiatives and maintain required training records.

Assist with the development, implementation, communication, and administration of HR policies and procedures. Ensure HR practices comply with applicable employment legislation, including the Employment Standards Act, 2000, Ontario Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, and other applicable requirements. Support employee communication initiatives,



including company announcements, policy updates, job postings, and HR notices.

Perform other HR‑related duties and projects as required. Post‑secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. CHRP designation or working toward a CHRP designation is considered an asset.

Approximately 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or similarly fast‑paced environment.

Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations. Solid knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and HR best practices.

Experience with employee relations, investigations, progressive discipline, attendance management, recruitment, and performance management.

Experience with HRIS, payroll, and time‑and‑attendance systems; Dayforce experience is an asset.

Strong Microsoft

Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal and employee‑relations skills. Ability to build effective working relationships with production employees, supervisors, managers, and senior leadership.

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within an HR team. Office‑based within a manufacturing facility, with regular presence on the production floor. May be exposed to typical manufacturing conditions, including noise, machinery, temperature variations, and required personal protective equipment.

May occasionally require flexibility in working hours to provide HR support to employees working different shifts. Computer literacy, including effective working skills of Microsoft Office, HRIS systems and e‑mail required. Excellent time and project management skills.
