J.T. Foster is located in Nanton, Alberta and is seeking to hire the very best teachers in Alberta!

We are seeking a junior high science teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning. This position will commence on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026.

We are seeking a teacher who:

- builds robust rapport with students and creates a safe and caring learning environment;
- provides an engaging environment for students from a variety of backgrounds, including at-risk and educationally disengaged students;
- works collaboratively as part of an instructional team;
- has experience working in core courses (Grade 7-8 Science)
- has experience teaching options courses;




- is passionate about differentiating instruction and assessment for all learners;
- is an excellent written and verbal communicator;
- is well organized and willing to collaborate with a team about increasing student learning and success;
- has experience teaching the most recent Alberta Middle School Curriculum.

The successful candidate will possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
