Cavendish Farms Potato Storage in Pooles Corner, PE is looking for Laborers from end of September until mid or end of October. 20.26 per hour + OT after 44 hrs & Sundays Working for a farming operation, workers must be available to work up to 12 hours a day, including some weekends. Grade potatoes to identify and remove defects, foreign material, and product that does not meet quality standards. Perform general labour duties within the potato storage facility, including housekeeping and equipment clean-up.

Transport dirt and debris using wheelbarrows from conveyor systems to designated dump stations. Assist with the movement, assembly, and maintenance of culverts and related storage equipment. Support storage operations by maintaining a clean, secure, and organized work environment.

Follow all safety procedures, policies, and operational guidelines. Safety and Quality focused Must be physically capable of performing demanding manual labour, including pushing loaded wheelbarrows, shovelling dirt and debris, lifting and carrying materials, assisting with culvert assembly and movement, and standing for extended periods of time.
