: Territory Manager (Ontario)

Position Available: ASAP, Permanent Full-time

Reports to: Managing Director

Job Objective:

Effectively manage assigned geographical territory while optimizing sales of HORSCH machines and parts, while delivering exceptional customer service and fostering long-term customer loyalty. Drive sales growth by building customer confidence and providing comprehensive support, including dealer coaching, technical field assistance, customer demonstrations, and project management. Strengthen relationships with existing dealers and ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives in close coordination with dealer partners throughout the territory.

Job Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

- Achieve strong sales growth and consistent performance for HORSCH products within the assigned territory.
- Demonstrate a passion for technology and leverage solid agronomic expertise to clearly communicate and showcase the value of HORSCH products.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with dealer personnel and end users.
- Provide technical field support, sales assistance, project management, customer demonstrations, and marketing execution to maximize dealer engagement and performance.
- Develop and implement a dealer distribution strategy that expands sales in established markets and capitalizes on high-potential areas for growth.
- Prepare comprehensive sales plans for the assigned territory across all HORSCH product lines.




- Generate innovative ideas and solutions through strong customer relationships, ensuring customer needs are addressed through proactive and consistent communication with the team.
- Manage travel and related expenses responsibly and efficiently in alignment with the annual budget.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and overall performance.

Required skills:

- Experience with AG equipment and farm work is a must.
- Solid knowledge in precision agriculture, usage, setup, and optimization.
- Knowledge of the industry and dealer functions experience is required.
- Technical education or equivalent technical work experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Highly motivated and ambitious, able to collaborate effectively in team environments.
- Advanced computer skills, such as Microsoft Office and G Suite.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of successful sales or account management experience; industry experience preferred.
- Excellent English written and verbal proficiency required.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a large territory.

Travel:

- Hybrid role with regular travel across the Ontario territory.
- Will require regular overnight stays.
- Possible annual or semi-annual travel to Germany and the USA.
- Valid driver’s license and passport.

Compensation:

This is a salary-based position that pays according to experience and education. Our benefit package includes Health, Dental, Life Insurance, Long-term Disability Insurance, an employer-matched Retirement Savings Plan, and four weeks of paid vacation per year.
