Role Description The Territory Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vancouver, BC. This position is responsible for managing and growing sales within an assigned territory by identifying opportunities, building robust customer relationships, and promoting X Tronics’ product portfolio and solutions. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting customer visits and product presentations, preparing quotations, and negotiating pricing and terms in alignment with company guidelines.
The role also involves collaborating with internal technical resources and supplier partners to develop tailored solutions, providing ongoing account support, and tracking sales performance to meet or exceed territory targets.
The Territory Sales
Manager will maintain accurate records in CRM tools,
report on market trends and competitor activity, and represent X Tronics at industry events and trade shows as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and account management skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, customer relationship building, and opportunity closing.
- Technical aptitude and ability to understand and communicate industrial, automation, medical, transportation, and EV-related products and solutions.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts, opportunities, and deadlines within a defined territory.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software) for sales reporting and planning.
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably in electronics, industrial automation, or related technical markets.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory for customer meetings and events.
- Post-secondary education in engineering, technology, business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and supplier partners while maintaining a high level of professional integrity.
