Test Analyst - API, UI Automation Scripting

Location: Toronto, ON

Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid — no mandatory office days; up to two days in office if required

Contract Details

- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 8 months
- Pay Rate: C$35.00–C$40.00 / Hour (CAD)
- Shift / Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Test Analyst to join our team. You will be participating in Quality Assurance for workstreams within the Concorde Program, a strategic program that will drive operational efficiency and productivity improvement. The program has high impact and high complexity spanning multiple lines of business and technology groups.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and exceptional test case creation, execution, and defect raising/retesting capabilities during SIT, UAT, and E2E QA for the Program. This role requires excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Review requirements and develop detailed test scenarios and test cases during UAT and E2E Test Phases
- Execute functional, integration, and regression testing
- Log, track, and retest defects
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to validate expected outcomes
- Provide testing status updates and support release activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless end-to-end testing and successful project delivery

How You'll Succeed

- Create and execute test cases with quality
- Identify defects early and thoroughly through detailed analysis, risk-based testing, and strong attention to functional, integration, and regression impacts
- Use sound judgment to assess risk by prioritizing critical defects and understanding downstream impacts
- Drive continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to testing processes, tools,



automation opportunities, and quality standards
- Communicate clearly and proactively by providing transparent updates on testing status, defect trends, risks, and readiness to stakeholders at all levels
- Support delivery in fast-paced environments by managing competing priorities, adapting to change, and maintaining quality under tight timelines

Required Skills

- 3 years of QA experience supporting technology projects
- Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and testing best practices
- Hands-on experience with functional, integration, and regression testing, including defect management
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments
- Proficiency with Client ALM and Jira
- Experience with test automation and software process improvement
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- API and UI automation scripting working knowledge experience
- SQL working knowledge experience
- AI Tools — LLM and Generative AI working knowledge experience
- Drive continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to testing processes, tools, automation opportunities, and quality standards
- Communicate clearly and proactively by providing transparent updates on testing status, defect trends, risks, and readiness to stakeholders at all levels
- Support delivery in fast-paced environments by managing competing priorities,



adapting to change, and maintaining quality under tight timelines

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Cheque Processing (e.g., Day 1, Day 2, RDC)
- Retail banking experience
- Previous experience at the client organization

Required Experience

- Minimum 3 years of QA experience supporting technology projects
