Join the team at Toronto General Hospital as a full-time Clinical Coordinator for the Ambulatory Multi-Organ Transplant unit. This role focuses on effective clinical activities and patient care coordination. You will be part of a committed team, reporting to the Manager while applying advanced nursing knowledge.
Responsibilities include teaching, quality improvement, and engaging in research activities, making this a agile and impactful position. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate comprehensive patient care using specialized knowledge
- Provide educational support to patients and their families
- Engage in quality improvement efforts within the department
- Participate in research initiatives related to transplant nursing
- Perform various administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is essential
- Preferred completion of a recognized Master’s nursing program
- Certificate of competency from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Up to three years of nursing experience in relevant fields
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
