Responsibilities

- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems and truck-trailer systems
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults




- Perform repair work on heavy trucks and test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance
- Keep maintenance reports and documentation
- Service attachments, working tools, and replace defective parts as needed

Experience and Specialization

- Diesel engines, standard transmission, engine repair and overhaul, truck-trailer repair
- Hydraulic transmissions, mechanical transmissions, drive trains, and final drives

Requirements

- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2–3 years relevant work experience
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, versatile, reliable, team player, client-focused, and good judgment
