Van Kam has an opening for a Shunt Truck Operator in our Surrey terminal. The successful candidate will be working in a high pressure, high volume atmosphere with critical time frames. A Class 1 license is considered an asset; however experience operating a shunt truck or trailer articulation is required.

Tasks include operating a shunt truck, putting in P&D; units, pulling trailers from the warehouse, splitting LCV sets in the yard and general yard organization. Additional duties include loading and unloading of trucks, receiving and filling out waybills for freight.
