Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM OR 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with rotation on Saturdays every three weeks (depending on shop requirements)

Responsibilities
- Complete thorough and quality diagnostic, service and repair of heavy-duty trucks and trailers (when required)
- Complete preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance
- Make recommendations on repairs or replacement parts
- Update the Service Manager on estimated completion time changes
- Road test the unit to ensure quality of work completed
- Document repairs, parts, or problems encountered during repair process on repair order
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Required
- 5+ years? experience as a Truck & Transport Mechanic
- Journeyperson Certification (Red Seal preferred)
- PMVI certification (Periodic Mandatory Vehicle Inspections)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to Interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in the trade
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Preferred
- Cummins Medium Duty Engine certification (ISB, B7.7, L Series)
- Cummins Heavy Duty Engine certification (X15)
- MPI issued School Bus PMVI Certification
- Diamond Certification
- Valid Manitoba Class 3 Driver?s License (Class 1 an asset)
