This team works 3 days/week onsite in our Burnaby studio. As a UI Software Engineer you will work with us to maintain and extend our existing User Interfaces. You will work in multiple scripting languages such as Actionscript and LUA, with some experience in C++.
We are a small team that works collaboratively and are looking for help on our next project!
Reports to: Senior Software Engineer You will test, debug, and verify work to ensure performance, stability and quality targets are hit.
Required Technical
Experience ~ Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience ~1-3 years of software engineering experience, preferably in the games industry or in areas where performant user interfaces are used ~1+ years of experience in object-oriented design and implementation. ~ Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices. ~ Basic knowledge of C++ ~ Comfortable with scripting languages such as Python or LUA.
Experience in version control tools (Perforce, Git)
Proven track record of—or strong affinity for—integrating emerging AI technologies into development or creative pipelines to drive innovation and efficiency.
Experience writing clean, concise code with comments. A love of making games that look and play great! The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting.
