As a Commercial Underwriter, you will be responsible for providing title insurance policies to customers for their commercial real estate transactions. You will review transactional information and documents, discuss problems with customers, underwrite defects and issue policies. Technical knowledge of the practice of real estate law and an understanding of the mechanics of a real estate transaction is crucial.

Receive title insurance orders by phone, portal, online and email Review underlying documentation including title reports, searches, surveys and other related documents Underwrite and prepare title insurance policies Respond to customer inquiries with respect to policy coverage, underwriting, rates and procedures Provide superior customer service and maintain strong customer relationships Qualified and customer service focused, with excellent communication skills ~ Proficiency in Microsoft office ~ Title insurance experience an asset Any pay range is in $CAD.
