We are seeking a reliable and caring Veterinary Assistant to support our veterinary team in delivering excellent patient care. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about animals, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and thrives in a collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and procedures
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Clean and maintain surgical areas,
kennels, and equipment to ensure hygienic workspace
- Feed and monitor animals in care
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, including answering questions
What we are looking for:
- Completion of a Veterinary Assistant Diploma preferred
- Hands on experience in a veterinary clinic preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage animals safely and confidently
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
