We offer corporate and investment banking, treasury management, as well as research and advisory services to clients around the world. #The Senior Product Manager for Client Onboarding will play a critical role in shaping and delivering a seamless onboarding experience for institutional and corporate clients across BMO Capital Markets. This position sits within the Office of the COO and partners closely with Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal and Front Office teams to design, implement, and optimize onboarding and legal documentation solutions that meet regulatory requirements and client expectations. The role is accountable for delivering business-focused outcomes by aligning onboarding initiatives with strategic objectives, driving measurable improvements in client experience, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation.

Align product strategy with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and client needs. Establish clear success metrics tied to business impact and monitor performance against targets.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal and Sales) to gather requirements and prioritize enhancements.

Process Optimization

Identify opportunities to streamline legal documentation, negotiation, document collection, and execution processes through workflow optimization, digitization, and automation. Drive automation and digital transformation opportunities within onboarding workflows.



Delivery & Execution Manage end-to-end delivery of onboarding-related projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and opportunities. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

Experience: 5+ years in product management, business analysis, or project delivery within financial services (Capital Markets experience strongly preferred). Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Skills: Solid understanding of client onboarding processes, regulatory requirements (KYC/AML), operational workflows, and legal documentation lifecycle process within financial services. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and digital transformation tools.

The salary range for this role is $110,000 up to $125,000 CAD (subject to the candidate meeting the specific skills, experience, education, and qualification requirements) Salary: Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
