Position Summary

Acuren is currently seeking a Visual Inspectors to support upcoming turnaround work at our client site IOR in Cold Lake . - Start Date: August 28, 2026 to September 24, 2026
- Location: IOR, Cold Lake, AB
- Rotation: 6/1, 12 hour shifts
- Prefer candidates to be located within AB

Responsibilities

- Observes work in progress to assure conformance with requirements and acceptable workmanship
- Inspection of process piping, power piping and structures from material verification stage to final commissioning and installation




- Utilizes applicable procedures, codes, and standards to evaluate test and inspection reports, recommending acceptable or rejection/or rejection
- Experience reviewing Work Scope Packages
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Requirements

- API 510, 570, IBPV (required)
- Ability to verify and accept material
- Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
