Job Title: Space Planner

Job Type : Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Space Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing visual merchandising strategies that enhance the in-store shopping experience. This role requires robust collaboration with merchants, hands-on work with fixtures and displays, and frequent travel to retail locations to ensure consistency in branding and execution.

The successful candidate will be analytical, self-driven, and detail-focused, with a strong understanding of store layout optimization and visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work directly with merchants to translate product information into engaging visual displays.
- Develop and test merchandising designs at the Innovation Centre before implementation.
- Make design decisions regarding display elements, considering weight, size, and durability.
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create display concepts and merchandising layouts.
- Ensure consistency in visual merchandising execution across multiple retail locations.
- Coordinate the setup and teardown of store displays and assess their effectiveness.
- Stay up to date on retail industry trends and competitor strategies to drive innovation in displays.

Data & Store Optimization:

- Analyze sales data and customer behavior trends to improve store layouts and display strategies.
- Identify discrepancies in merchandising execution and recommend solutions to optimize performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations,



and category management.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in visual merchandising, retail display design, or space planning.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop for merchandising design.
- Strong Excel skills (including functions such as VLOOKUP).
- Ability to identify inconsistencies in data and improve store layout strategies.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for site visits.
