To support our continued growth, we are hiring Well Pads Production Technicians for Fly‑In/Fly‑Out (FIFO) positions at our Firebag site. This is a frontline opportunity to take charge of well pad operations, keep production running safely and efficiently, and drive strong communication across every shift change. and employee training and development programs are just a few ways we’re dedicated to your development Five years of experience in conventional oil and gas operations, SAGD or heavy oil Experience operating gas compression and pipelines is preferred Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology, 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate (ABSA certified), or equivalent A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) Execute pad operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production, with clear and effective communication during shift handovers Monitor operating conditions—including levels, pressures, and temperatures—and take timely action to adjust processes during upsets in line with production targets Perform routine operating tasks such as monitoring levels, pressures, and temperatures This is a Fly-in/Fly-out (FIFO) camp-based position; you will FIFO from a Suncor hub location: The shift schedule is a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation (7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off; 12-hour shifts) You will be required to perform some heavy lifting, use ladders and work on elevated work sites such as scaffolds and towers, with the ability to perform in a variety of different environments both indoor and outdoor as well as within confined spaces Suncor is committed to providing equal opportunities for employment and building an inclusive, results-oriented and high-performance culture where all members of our team feel safe, valued and respected. #
