The Opportunity

The Whistler Village Beer Festival is one of Whistler's biggest annual celebrations of craft beverages, food, live music, and community. The main event taking place Saturday, September 19 at Whistler Olympic Plaza bringing together craft breweries, live music, food trucks, games, and festival-goers for an unforgettable afternoon in the heart of Whistler Village.

We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable Event Support Team Members to help bring the festival to life. There are a variety of roles available, and your responsibilities may include everything from setting up and tearing down the event site to welcoming guests, supporting admissions, working with breweries, managing kegs, or pouring beverages.

This is a quick-paced event environment where things can change quickly. We're looking for people who bring a can-do attitude, aren't afraid to jump in wherever needed, and can roll with the punches when things don't go exactly to plan.

Wage and Perks of the Job

- $20.50–$25.00 per hour, depending on role and experience

What You Bring to the Table





- A positive can-do attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Ability to safely lift and move equipment and supplies.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where plans can change quickly.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Robust communication and a friendly, guest-focused approach.
- Previous event, festival, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Serving It Right certification is required for some positions.
- 19+ for roles involving alcohol service.

Your Days Will Look Like Depending on your assigned role, you may be responsible for:

- Supporting event set-up and tear-down, including moving equipment, supplies, signage, and event infrastructure.
- Supporting admissions by welcoming guests, checking tickets and ID, and helping create a smooth entry experience.
- Working with brewery and beverage vendors, including keg operations, product movement, booth support, and beverage pouring.
- Keeping event areas clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready throughout the day.
- Providing friendly and professional service to festival guests, vendors, and partners.
- Following all event, safety, liquor service, and operational procedures.
- Jumping in to support other areas of the event as needed.
- Staying flexible and adapting to changing priorities throughout the day.
