Empower Saulteau First Nations youth as a Youth Program Facilitator. Create engaging programs that blend cultural learning and fun in a flexible role, focusing on community connection. As a Youth Program Facilitator, you'll coordinate culturally appropriate programs and activities for youth within Saulteau First Nations.
Your mission includes planning, implementing, and supervising diverse and interactive sessions, while managing budgets and record-keeping. You will also foster a welcoming atmosphere, engage with community resources, and ensure all activities uphold safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging programs for youth
- Manage food budget, track supplies, and reduce waste
- Teach healthy eating through workshops and demonstrations
- Maintain accurate records of dietary needs and safety logs
- Collaborate with other departments for program success
Requirements:
- High school diploma, preference for relevant post-secondary education
- Experience in child and youth services is an asset
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
- Police Information Check - Vulnerable Sector
- Food Safe Level 1 Certification
