Part-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Achieve Therapy Centre is a clinician-owned and operated pediatric practice that has proudly supported children, youth, and families in Ottawa since 2009. Located in the west end, our well-established clinic offers speech-language pathology and occupational therapy services in a collaborative, supportive, and play-based environment.

We are currently seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our energetic team. This role includes providing in-person assessment and therapy within our clinic, as well as opportunities to work within our valued Indigenous community partnerships.

This is an exciting chance to work both independently and collaboratively, including joint therapy sessions alongside Speech-Language Pathologists, supporting children with a wide range of developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and reports
- Develop individualized goals and treatment plans




- Provide direct therapy services to children and youth
- Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants (OTAs)
- Create and support home programming
- Provide parent coaching, education, and consultation

Qualifications

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Experience working with children (pediatric experience preferred)
- Experience supporting children with additional needs is an asset
- Knowledge of community resources is an asset
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- A flexible, creative, and self-directed approach to therapy
- Ability to work a few early-evening appointments per week (4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.)
- Availability to work Saturdays or every second Saturday is an asset, with additional premium pay for weekend hours
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (preferred)
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
