Overview
We are seeking an experienced person to join our team to assist with all warehouse and yard operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities Include

-Operate forklift to load and unload (forklift ticket preferred)

-Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions, ensuring accurate and timely delivery

*Maintain internal, manual or computerized record-keeping systems

*Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

*Receive and inspect shipments of plumbing and HVAC materials, equipment, and tools for accuracy and damage.

* Unpack and stock shelves with received items, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse

* Package and label shipments according to company procedures and regulations

* Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts as required

* Maintain a secure and clean working environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures

* Ensure loads are properly balanced, strapped, and covered to prevent shifting or loss during transport





* Conduct pre-and post-operational checks on mobile equipment to ensure they are in positive working condition

* Clean and maintain the shop area, including sweeping and organizing tools and supplies

* Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and tracking supplies

* Perform general labor tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and hauling materials

* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and skilled tradespeople

Requirements
* Valid Driver's License

* Ability to drive light duty truck with trailer

* Ability to navigate Edmonton and surrounding area for deliveries

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Basic math skills and attention to detail

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

* Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and meet deadlines

* Forklift / Equipment operation not mandatory but considered an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
