Lola Lash Bar is looking for a creative, organized, and results-driven 'Social Media and Marketing Manager' to lead our brand's digital presence and marketing efforts across all locations.

About Us
Lola Lash Bar is lash and brow salon chain with locations in Downtown, McKenzie Towne, Crowfoot, West 85th, and Marda Loop. Plus a location in Kelowna.

Position Overview
This full-time role will own our social media strategy, content creation, and marketing initiatives, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presence online. Additionally creating for two sister companies including a lash product line and cafe. The Social Media and Marketing Manager will be required to visit each Lola Lash Bar location weekly to capture content, coordinate with location teams, and stay connected to the in-salon experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.)
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to support brand growth and client acquisition
- Photograph and film content at each location on a rotating schedule
- Manage email marketing campaigns, monthly newsletters, and promotions
- Use AI tools to streamline content creation, copywriting, and campaign ideation
- Design graphics and promotional materials using Canva




- Track engagement metrics and adjust strategy based on performance
- Coordinate with location managers and staff to align marketing with in-salon promotions and events
- Stay current on social media trends and beauty industry marketing best practices
- Design branded merchandise and manage related product listings

- Attend company related events to capture content

Qualifications
- Previous experience in social media management required
- Robust content creation skills (photo, video, and copywriting)
- Experience with AI tools for content and marketing workflows
- Proficiency in Canva
- Experience with Mailchimp (or similar email marketing platforms)
- Experience with Shopify
- Reliable transportation for biweekly visits to all five Calgary-area locations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
