Position Title: Outdoor Power Equipment Product Specialist – Counter Sales/Service
Division: Kennebecasis Land & Leisure – Outdoor Equipment Store

Position Summary: The OPE Product Specialist is a forward-facing role dealing directly with customers and suppliers, responsible for counter sales, service coordination, and rental support for outdoor power equipment. All Key Result Areas (KRAs) in this position are to be carried out with courtesy and gratitude. This outline serves as a guide for expected job performance and is not intended to limit the scope of the role.

Responsibilities:

Sales: Units & Parts

- Sell and support power equipment products as required
- Collect payments
- Maintain and recommend inventory: parts, units, and accessories as required
- Responsible for daily store merchandising
- Stay knowledgeable on products carried and industry trends
- Interact with suppliers as required

Service

- Engage with customers
- Create work orders based on Complaint, Cause, Correction (CCC)
- Accurately prepare job quotes and estimates
- Communicate with customers throughout the service process
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Collect payment

Rentals

- Interact with rental customers
- Know the rental schedule
- Provide rental information to customers
- Collect all required documents from customers
- Process paperwork and create rental agreements
- Dispatch and receive rental equipment
- Collect payment

General

- Answer phones




- Ensure all customers receive a proper greeting
- Maintain a neat work and store area
- Keep the Operations Manager informed of any pressing issues or opportunities
- Follow all company procedures and policies
- Work with and respect other positions and teammates to provide an exceptional and seamless customer experience

Qualifications

- Prior parts, sales, or customer service experience is an asset
- Experience in hauling a trailer is an asset
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Competency with social media and content creation assets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Knowledge of outdoor power equipment or mechanical products is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Expected hours: 40- 44 per week (Seasonal Variations)

Work Location:

This position is based in the office at Quispamsis, Monday to Friday and Saturday Rotation

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Quispamsis, NB E2E 0T1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
