Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (required). Waldorf Teacher Training Certification or significant progress toward certification (preferred). Bachelor of Education member of the OCT (preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience teaching in a Waldorf school or familiarity with Waldorf education. Experience teaching elementary-aged children is highly desirable.
- A current Vulnerable Sector Check and first aid certificate are required for this post.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong understanding of child development, particularly the nine-year change.
- Ability to engage students through storytelling, artistic expression, and experiential learning.
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
- Transparent and compassionate communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment.
