Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and pain levels.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
- Administer physiotherapy interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Document patient progress accurately in medical records and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology,
current physiotherapy techniques, and hospital protocols to ensure best practices.
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Physiotherapist with the appropriate licensing body.
- Proven experience working in hospital settings with exposure to acute care environments.
- Experience working with pediatric patients and managing pediatric physiotherapy cases is highly desirable.
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and healthcare documentation.
- Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior hospital experience is preferred; acute care experience is a significant advantage.

Pay: $78.00-$110.00 per hour
