Castone Construction Limited is seeking Carpenter / Millworkers to join its construction team. The successful candidates will construct, install, maintain, and repair structures and components made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials for residential and commercial construction projects.

The role involves hands-on construction and carpentry work, including measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing building materials and components. The successful candidates must be able to read and follow plans or instructions, use carpentry tools and equipment safely, and work effectively on active construction sites.

Job Duties:

- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions;
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials;
- Construct, install, maintain, and repair structures and components, including framing, walls, floors, doors, windows, trim, mouldings, and other building components;
- Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes and project requirements;
- Install millwork, fixtures, cabinetry, trim, and finishing components as required;
- Fit and install doors, stairs, mouldings, hardware, and related interior and exterior finishes;
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment safely and effectively;
- Repair or replace damaged wood or building materials;




- Assist with general construction activities at residential and commercial job sites;
- Follow workplace safety rules and maintain a clean, protected, and organized worksite;
- Work at heights, on ladders, scaffolding, or elevated work platforms as required; and
- Perform other carpentry, millwork, and construction-related duties as directed.

Skills, Education, and Experience:

- Minimum 1 years of experience in carpentry, millwork, or a related construction trade is required;
- Experience with residential or commercial construction is required;
- Experience installing millwork, trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, or related finishing components is an asset;
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, measurements, and work instructions;
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, scaffolds, ladders, and other construction equipment;
- Physical strength, manual dexterity, and good balance;
- Ability to work safely at heights and in active construction environments;
- Willingness to learn and be trained in carpentry, millwork, and construction practices;
- An apprenticeship, trade certification, or licence in carpentry or a related field is an asset;
- WHMIS, OHS, and First Aid are required and may be provided by the employer; and
- Full safety training and orientation are required before work can commence.
