Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Student Advisor (Tech & Data Focus) to join our team and contribute to both student success and company growth. This role is ideal for candidates with real-world experience in Data Analysis or Software Engineering who are passionate about mentoring and career development.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop Study Plans

Design structured and customized learning plans based on technical interview requirements and industry expectations.

- Resume & Job Application Support

Guide students in resume refinement and assist with targeted job applications.

- Job List Management

Regularly update and maintain curated job listings aligned with students’ backgrounds.

- Student Progress Tracking

Use Salesforce and internal systems to document and monitor student performance and milestones.

- Interview & Technical Guidance





Provide practical insights based on real interview experience and industry standards.

- Course Coordination

Collaborate with mentors to ensure smooth delivery of technical courses and project sessions.

- Business Development Support

Contribute to strategic growth initiatives and internal process optimization.

- Project & Operations Support

Assist with task management and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely execution.

- Customer Relationship Management

Deliver high-quality student service and respond promptly to inquiries.

Requirements

- Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field (minimum GPA 3.0/4.0).

- Professional Experience (Required)
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Data Analysis or Software Engineering
- Real interview experience in North American tech/finance markets
- Professional work experience in relevant technical roles
- Technical Skills (Strong Asset)
- SQL
- Python
- Java
- Communication Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to students
- Language Proficiency (Mandatory)
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
- Mandarin proficiency is required for this role

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
