Duties
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on automotive systems such as engines, brakes, transmissions, electrical components, HVAC systems, and welding repairs.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to disassemble, repair, replace parts, and reassemble machinery with precision.
- Read and interpret technical schematics and manuals to diagnose mechanical or electrical issues accurately.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, parts used, and inspection reports for accountability and future reference.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the work performed.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or similar automotive repair background with hands-on mechanic experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems.
- Experience working with electrical systems, schematics interpretation, welding techniques, HVAC maintenance, or power tools is a plus.
- Prior experience in maintenance roles involving assembly or disassembly of machinery using hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
