Manager (Adult Services)

REPORTS TO: The Executive Director or in his/her absence the Board of Directors.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Provide organizational leadership and ensure safe, lawful and Housing First-aligned operation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREA: Homeless Services

Duties:

- regulatory compliance;
- budget management;
- staff supervision;
- policy implementation;
- partnership development;
- incident oversight;
- data collection;
- quality improvement;
- funder reporting;
- board reporting;
- resident-rights oversight.

Responsible for:

- shift coverage;
- incident management;
- staff supervision;
- admission/discharge review;
- documentation audits;
- resident complaints;
- training compliance;
- environmental inspection

Qualifications:

- relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience;
- leadership experience;




- experience with homelessness/social services;
- trauma-informed practice;
- demonstrated understanding of Housing First;
- crisis-management competence.

Due to the nature of this role, preference will be given to applicants who:

- self-identify as female, or who have special education and experience related to women's issues.
- have lived experience with homelessness, or addiction.
