Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our construction team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction, providing a solid foundation for a career in the trades. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and an interest in developing skills across multiple construction disciplines, including woodworking. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about building and craftsmanship who want to grow within a dynamic environment.

Duties

- Assist senior carpenters with framing, cabinetry, and finishing work using hand tools and power tools
- Learn to read construction drawings
- Support siding projects
- Participate in drywall setup
- Aid in projects including woodwork repairs and surface finishing
- Help with construction painting, caulking, and sealing tasks to ensure quality finishes
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safety and efficiency on site
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times

Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of construction tools, hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures
- Familiarity with construction drawings is a plus




- Prior maintenance person experience or woodworking background is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Willingness to learn current skills across various trades such as siding
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions from supervisors
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant coursework or certifications in carpentry or construction trades preferred but not required
