Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently moving, loading, and unloading goods using various types of forklifts and material handling equipment. Duties

- Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers safely to transport goods throughout the warehouse
- Perform heavy lifting tasks with proper technique to ensure safety and efficiency
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update records accurately
- Assist with order picking processes by selecting items according to order specifications
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to maintain mechanical reliability and safety standards
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock and preparing shipments for dispatch




- Collaborate with team members to optimize storage space and streamline warehouse operations

Skills

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution and material handling operations
- Certification in forklift operation; experience with clamp trucks and order pickers is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control
- Excellent attention to detail combined with good communication skills

Pay: $22.00 per hour
