Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue Swedish, sports, and therapeutic massages, along with cold laser therapy to meet client needs.
- Assess client conditions and discuss preferences to customize treatment plans effectively.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols.
- Communicate clearly with clients about treatment procedures, benefits, and aftercare recommendations.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress for future reference.
- Promote additional wellness services or products that may benefit clients’ health goals.
- Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education.
Experience
- Proven experience as a licensed Massage Therapist with a strong understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients in a professional manner.
- Solid communication skills to explain treatments clearly and listen attentively to client concerns.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism.
- Prior experience in a spa or wellness setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
