Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Helper to join our dynamic warehouse team. This vital role involves supporting various operational tasks across the distribution center, ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse functions. As a General Helper, you will be an essential part of our logistics process, contributing to the safe handling, loading, unloading, and organization of goods. Responsibilities

- Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks
- Support order picking activities with precision and attention to detail to fulfill customer orders efficiently
- Operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts and load & unload machinery, following all safety protocols
- Help organize warehouse storage areas, ensuring items are stored correctly for easy access and inventory accuracy
- Participate in shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
- Support warehouse distribution tasks by moving materials, supplies, and equipment as directed




- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times

Requirements

- Prior warehouse experience or construction background is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other load & unload machinery (certification preferred)
- Experience with order picker tools and heavy lifting techniques to handle goods safely
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and warehouse distribution processes
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
