Youth Program Coordinator

The Centre for Employment and Learning is accepting applications for a Youth Program Coordinator (full-time) in Clinton, Ontario.

Hours of Work: 35 Hours per week, 12 months per year

Start Date: As soon as possible

Rate of Pay: $31.81 as of September 1, 2025, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Employment for Non-Union Centre for Education and Learning Employees.

Reporting to the Site Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for the duties below:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Ability to manage government funded labour market adjustment projects;
- Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with various community organizations including training organizations, community-based organizations, various levels of government and employers;
- Recruiting and evaluating participants;
- Delivering group employability sessions;
- Securing suitable resources and speakers for successful delivery of project;
- Evaluating and monitoring participant progress/outcomes;
- Maintaining updated records on current and graduated participants career goal progress and attendance;
- Monitoring participant’s work placement through regular visits to worksite and to employer;




- Developing and coordinating community awareness program for the project to increase awareness and support within the community;
- Liaison with other community agencies and service providers, employers and business groups;
- Completing regular reports and final report Service Canada; and
- Performing other job-related duties and responsibilities as required.

Job Specifications and Requirements:

- Minimum three (3) year post-secondary education in Social Services, Social Sciences, Education or equivalent education;
- Minimum two (2) years of related work experience;
- Ability to work with youth;
- Effective interpersonal skills;
- Effective oral and written communication skills;
- Able to work with project partners; and
- Able to work in a team environment.
