Position Summary:
The Talent and Organizational Development Associate will assist the TOD Manager in all training and organizational development activities.
Position Objectives:
- Establish, manage, and coordinate all employee training including initial employee onboarding and training and ongoing employee development.
- Establish training programs, policies, materials and procedures.
- Identify training needs and solutions to enhance employee performance and organizational effectiveness.
- Develops current employees to ensure they are well-trained and well-motivated.
- Enhances employee capabilities to perform the present job.
Position Responsibilities:
Learning and Development:
- Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive talent development strategy that aligns with the overall CPR strategy and objectives.
- Stay current on best practices in talent development and organization development and make recommendations for implementation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of programs that promote a positive, engaged, and inclusive workplace culture.
- Ensure training programs, procedures, and materials are current, accurate and sufficient.
- Manage, coordinate and facilitate all training activities.
- Identify, assess and monitor training deficiencies and suggest solutions to meet improvement strategies and employee engagement concerning performance issues and potential areas of training.
- Assist in the design, planning and implementation of training programs, plans, policies and activities to fulfill CPR needs.
- Define and recruit trainers, as needed, making sure enough recourses are available
- Work closely with local (in office) training coordinators to facilitate the training process and programs at the centers
- Prepare, analyze and maintain all training-related metrics, reports and surveys in order to track progress and success and communicate trends to leadership
- Encourage employee training and oversee attendance and performance
- HR support:
- Supports Human Resources department on onboarding of new staff
- Supports the recruiting and interview process, as needed
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- College diploma in applied pharmaceutical sciences, general sciences, human resources, organizational development or health care is preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in a GMP-regulated environment as part of Training Management, Human Resources and/or Quality Management.
- Strong knowledge of best practices in talent development, organization development, and change management.
- Proven project management skills are preferred.
- Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools
- Effective communication skills, written and verbal, with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills and the ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range is $45,000 to $55,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package is available with coverage including health, dental, life insurance, long-term disability and a group retirement savings plan with RRSP match.
