Job Overview
York Rehab Clinic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Osteopath to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team in Richmond Hill. The successful candidate will provide high-quality osteopathic assessment and treatment to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, recover from injuries, and achieve their functional health goals.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Osteopath looking for a flexible, part-time position within a professional and supportive rehabilitation environment.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify musculoskeletal conditions and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized osteopathic treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide manual therapy techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization, stretching, and other appropriate osteopathic techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical documentation.
- Educate patients regarding posture, movement, injury prevention, home exercises, and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Communicate and collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care.
- Follow appropriate clinical,
privacy, and documentation standards.
- Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Osteopath Certification is required.
- Proven experience as an Osteopath or in a similar manual therapy role.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Excellent assessment, clinical reasoning, and manual therapy skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
- Experience with rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, or musculoskeletal conditions is an asset.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are considered an asset.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications is an asset.
Schedule
The position is part-time, 2 days per week, with 5 hours of work per day.
Specific working days and hours can be discussed and arranged based on clinic and practitioner availability.
Compensation
50%–55% of collected treatment revenue, based on experience and qualifications.
