About Us:

Lee’s Trees Ltd. is looking for an experienced Landscape/Hardscape Foreperson / Crew Leader to join our team. We want a positive, reliable leader who is comfortable managing a crew while working hands-on right alongside them. Our diverse projects span throughout the Lower Mainland and include municipal contracts, landscape construction, tree planting, and large-scale tree relocation.

What You'll Do:

- Lead by example by working hands-on alongside your crew to deliver high-quality work.
- Manage daily field operations to keep projects running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
- Oversee diverse outdoor projects including municipal contracts, construction, and tree relocation.
- Maintain strong communication between field crews and management.
- Complete Daily Reports: Accurately track and submit daily logs detailing materials used, project progress, and site conditions.
- Track Crew Hours: Monitor and record labor hours, ensuring time is accurately allocated to specific tasks and projects.
- Report Site Issues: Proactively identify and communicate any job site concerns, safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or project delays to management.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2+ years of landscaping, hardscaping, or construction experience, with proven time spent leading and managing a crew.
- Valid Driver’s Licence (STRICTLY REQUIRED):



You MUST have a valid driver's licence and experience driving an F350 or larger to be considered for this role.
- Strong communication, great organizational skills, and a solid work ethic.
- Able to work safely and efficiently in a team environment

Assets:

Priority will be given to candidates who possess these qualifications:

- Tree planting and tree relocation experience.
- Experience operating an excavator and other heavy machinery/equipment.
- Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s licence.
- Prior experience working on municipal project sites.
