We are looking for an energetic, organized and customer-focused Banquet Captain & Social Media Coordinator to join our team.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working with people, creating exceptional guest experiences, and has a passion for social media and hospitality.

You will play an important role in ensuring our weddings, corporate events, private functions and other catered events run smoothly, while also helping showcase our business online.

Banquet & Event Responsibilities

- Lead banquet service and supervise staff during events
- Coordinate setup, service and teardown of events
- Ensure food and beverages are presented and served to company standards
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service
- Communicate with the kitchen, event coordinator and management team
- Assign duties and provide direction to banquet staff
- Troubleshoot issues during events and ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist with training and mentoring new banquet staff
- Ensure cleanliness, organization and safety standards are maintained

Social Media Responsibilities

- Create engaging posts, stories, reels and other content
- Take photos and videos of events, food and behind-the-scenes activities
- Help promote upcoming events, catering services and special offers




- Develop creative ideas to increase engagement and followers
- Respond to comments and messages in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a consistent and professional brand image across social platforms

What We’re Looking For

- Previous banquet, catering, restaurant or hospitality experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced setting
- Comfortable directing and working with a team
- Reliable, professional and well presented
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using Instagram, Facebook and other social media platforms
- Photography/video and social media experience is an asset
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends as required

Valid driver’s license required for this position.
