We’re looking for an experienced residential construction Site Superintendent to join our expanding team and help us deliver stunning homes, exceptional client experiences, and craftsmanship that stands the test of time.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to project management and ownership, the Site Superintendent is responsible for coordinating and managing all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage daily on-site construction activities.
- Ensure materials, equipment, and inspections are aligned with project schedules and selections.
- Enforce safety standards and maintain a secure, compliant job site.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan, schedule, and manage field personnel.
- Review project plans, specifications, and selections for accuracy and constructability.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including 5-week lookaheads.
- Generate and manage RFIs (Requests for Information) as required.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with codes, specifications, and manufacturer recommendations.




- Lead pre-construction and on-site meetings with trades and subcontractors.
- Utilize project management software for scheduling, documentation, and quality tracking.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, trades, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Review subcontractor work and approve final billing.
- Provide process feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- 7+ years of hands-on construction experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is an asset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with construction project management software (preferred).
- Valid Alberta driver’s license and insurable driving record.
