A.T. Your Service Interior Renovation Corporation is an Ottawa-based company specializing in residential renovation, repair, and improvement projects, including drywall, painting, flooring, tiling, kitchen renovations, and general home improvements.

We are seeking a reliable and organized Building Maintenance Supervisor to supervise and coordinate renovation projects and workers.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate renovation and repair workers
- Schedule daily work and assign tasks
- Oversee painting, drywall, flooring, tiling, plastering, roofing, and general renovation work
- Coordinate work with subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Resolve work-related problems and address delays or issues
- Order materials, tools, and supplies
- Train workers on job duties and safety procedures
- Supervise helpers, labourers, and apprentices
- Monitor work progress and prepare basic reports
- Ensure workers follow company policies and safety rules
- Assist with renovation and repair work when needed

Requirements

Education:




Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience

Experience:
1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience in residential renovation, construction, building maintenance, or a related field

Skills:

- Knowledge of residential renovation and repair work
- Ability to supervise and coordinate workers
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Valuable organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- Ability to communicate in English

Work Conditions

- Residential renovation sites in Ottawa and surrounding areas
- Indoor and outdoor work
- Physically demanding work may be required
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- May work in dusty or noisy construction environments
