Job Title: Appliance Sales & Operations Associate

Job Overview Are you energetic, customer-focused, and ready to play a key role in our daily store operations? We are seeking a versatile Appliance Sales & Operations Associate to assist walk-in customers, handle store front sales, and keep our showroom running smoothly. In this hands-on, multi-faceted role, you will advise clients on selecting open-box and scratch-and-dent major appliances, process transactions, and actively participate in showroom floor organization, inventory intake, and physical appliance movement. Duties

- Customer Sales & Consultation: Greet walk-in customers, understand their appliance needs, explain open-box/scratch-and-dent condition details, and recommend the right solutions to close sales.
- Store Floor & Daily Operations: Assist with opening and closing procedures, maintain store cleanliness, keep product displays organized, and support day-to-day store operations.
- Physical Appliance Handling: Safely move, uncrate, position, and arrange heavy appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers) in the showroom and warehouse area using moving equipment and dollies.
- POS & Transaction Processing: Operate Point of Sale systems to process payments, issue sales invoices, and handle customer receipts accurately.
- Inventory & Order Support:



Assist with receiving incoming stock, inspecting unit conditions, organizing product displays with clear pricing, and preparing appliances for customer pickup or delivery.
- Customer Communication: Answer phone and in-person inquiries regarding product availability, specifications, pricing, and store policies.

Requirements & Experience

- Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and maneuver heavy appliances regularly using proper lifting techniques and moving equipment.
- Sales & Retail Experience: Proven track record in retail sales or customer service (experience in appliances, home improvement, or hardware is a asset).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills in English; multilingual abilities (such as Punjabi) are a strong asset for serving our local customer base.
- POS & Computer Literacy: Comfortable using Point of Sale software, basic inventory tools, and general digital tools for transaction entry.
- Basic Math & Precision: Accurate basic math skills for managing payment transactions, calculating quotes, and logging inventory.
- Reliability & Teamwork: Robust work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively to keep the store running efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
