We are seeking a skilled and dependable Field Maintenance Technician to provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for industrial equipment at customer locations. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on assembly experience, and problem-solving skills, along with flexibility to travel as required.

Experience working with CNC machinery, sheet metal equipment, or laser systems is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, assemble, service, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment at customer sites.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and equipment-related issues.

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.

- Disassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble mechanical components as required.

- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential problems before failures occur.

- Perform equipment testing and adjustments following installation or repairs.

- Read and interpret technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals.

- Provide on-site technical support and communicate professionally with customers.

- Document service calls, repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.

- Coordinate with internal technical and service teams to resolve complex equipment issues.

- Maintain tools, equipment, and service materials in valuable working condition.

- Follow all customer-site and company health and safety procedures.





- Travel to customer locations as required, including overnight and potentially cross-border travel.

- Work flexible hours when required to accommodate service calls and customer needs.

Requirements

- Post-secondary technical education in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanical Technology, or a related field.

- Strong mechanical assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills.

- Hands-on experience working with industrial machinery or mechanical equipment.

- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and equipment documentation.

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and maintenance equipment.

- Valid G driver's licence required.

- Reliable personal vehicle required.

- Valid passport and ability to travel required.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong communication and customer-service skills.

- Flexibility to work varying hours and travel based on service requirements.

Strong Assets

- Previous experience servicing or maintaining CNC machinery.

- Experience with sheet metal fabrication equipment.

- Experience with industrial laser cutting or laser processing equipment.

- Electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic troubleshooting knowledge.

- Previous experience in a field service or mobile maintenance technician position.
