Junior Bilingual Business Development Representative

About the Role

Toshiba Tec Canada is seeking a motivated Junior Bilingual Business Development Representative to develop new business opportunities within an assigned territory.

You will identify prospective clients, generate leads, conduct cold outreach, and sell Toshiba’s complete range of office technology solutions. These include multifunction colour copiers and printers, label and barcode printers, wide-format printers, digital signage, and document-management software.

This opportunity is ideal for an early-career sales professional who is bilingual in English and French, enjoys meeting new people, and wants to build a long-term career in business-to-business sales.

Responsibilities

- Generate new business through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and in-person prospecting.
- Identify potential clients and sales opportunities within an assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain a structured territory and prospecting plan.
- Present and sell Toshiba office equipment, technology, and software solutions.
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their business objectives, operational challenges, and technology needs.
- Recommend appropriate Toshiba products and services based on each client’s requirements.
- Conduct sales presentations and coordinate product demonstrations.
- Build and maintain robust client relationships while delivering a high level of customer care.
- Maintain accurate prospecting activity, opportunity information, and sales reporting.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain an understanding of Toshiba’s solutions, industry developments, and market trends.

Qualifications

- Fluency in both English and French,



with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Approximately one year of sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or other client-facing experience.
- Previous experience with cold calling, prospecting, or business development is an asset.
- Motivated by goals, performance incentives, and building new client relationships.
- Comfortable communicating with prospective clients by phone, email, video, and in person.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills.
- Coachable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation.
