The Production Coordinator is responsible for the daily administration of production orders, inventory processes, creating and receiving all supply chain transfers, packing slips and purchase orders.

Major Areas of Responsibilities

- Create/process work orders for production requirements and stock levels
- Organize all production related documents and drawings
- Create/receive supply chain transfers, packing slips and purchase orders
- Maintain spreadsheets for production and material tracking
- Filing appropriate paperwork daily
- Liaise with other departments to help facilitate production processes
- Report production errors/issues to plant manager
- Perform safety inspections
- Perform cycle counts and report discrepancies to plant manager
- Inventory tracking and review adjustments
- Answer phones/emails
- Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures at all times
- Other duties as required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office, ERP Software)
- Strong mathematical skills
- Experience in manufacturing processes an asset
- Carry out complex oral and written instructions
- Attention to detail
- Versatile, innovative and adaptable
- Effective verbal and written communicator with staff as well as all levels of management
- Thrives working in a very fast-paced environment
- Syspro experience would be an asset

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee will perform their duties in an office environment with some exposure to a production facility with operating machinery, mechanical parts and moving vehicles. The noise level in this environment is moderate.

Hours of Work

7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

Saturdays and overtime as needed
