Food Services Manager – Full-Time
Supervises: Food Service Team Lead

Position Summary

Fresh Start Recovery Centre is seeking a Food Services Manager to oversee food services in our Lethbridge location. This position provides leadership to the Food Service Team Lead and kitchen staff while ensuring meals are nutritious, secure, and meet the dietary and recovery needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily food service operations and provide leadership to the kitchen team.
- Plan and approve nutritious and varied menus.
- Ensure client allergies and dietary requirements are followed.
- Maintain compliance with Alberta Health Services' food safety standards.
- Oversee food purchasing, inventory, vendors, and budget.
- Maintain high standards for sanitation, hygiene, and safe food handling.
- Coordinate meals for client programming and organizational events.
- Maintain required documentation and provide reports to management.

Qualifications





- Red Seal Certification or Culinary Arts Diploma is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of food service experience, including supervisory or management experience.
- Valid Food Safety Certification.
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of nutrition, dietary planning, and food safety.
- Experience in residential, recovery, or non-profit settings is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Valid Class 5 AB Drivers License
