Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in various welding techniques, mechanical understanding, and blueprint reading will ensure the highest quality standards are met. Duties
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on diverse metal components following detailed blueprints and schematics
- Use plasma cutting tools, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to shape and assemble metal parts accurately
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise fabrication and assembly of products
- Conduct rigging operations to lift and position heavy materials safely using cranes or forklifts
- Measure materials with calipers and other precision tools to maintain strict tolerances during fabrication
- Execute welding repairs on ductwork, structural steel, or machinery components as needed
- Maintain a clean,
organized workspace adhering to safety protocols while inspecting finished work for quality assurance
- Assist in mechanical assembly tasks related to construction projects or manufacturing processes
Experience
- Proven experience in welding within manufacturing or construction environments with a solid understanding of mechanical systems
- Skilled in MIG and TIG welding techniques with the ability to produce high-quality welds consistently
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate fabrication
- Knowledge of rigging procedures, crane operation, and forklift handling for material movement and positioning
- Hands-on experience with plasma cutting, press brake machines, machining tools, hand tools, power tools, and calipers
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential to precise fabrication processes
- Prior involvement in ductwork installation or assembly projects is a plus
- Ability to work safely with scaffolding or elevated work platforms when required

Pay: $32.25 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
