Now Hiring: Dry Cleaning & Alterations Staff (3 Full time Positions)

Locations: North Vancouver and Delta

We are hiring three full-time team members across two dry cleaning shops:

Cleveland Dry Cleaners, 4720 Capilano Road, North Vancouver

Ichiban Fine Cleaning, 5247 Ladner Trunk Road, Delta

You will work at one location only. When you apply, tell us which shop you prefer.

What you must bring

Sewing and basic garment repair skills. You should be able to hem pants and skirts, take in or let out seams, replace zippers, and fix buttons and small tears. If you can do more than that, even better, and it will be reflected in your pay.

What we will teach you

No dry cleaning experience needed. We will train you on spotting, cleaning, pressing and finishing. This is a good fit for someone who sews well and wants to learn a full trade with room to grow.

The role

Full-time, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, five days a week.



Duties include alterations and repairs, checking in and tagging garments, operating cleaning and pressing equipment after training, quality checks before pickup, and helping customers at the counter.

Pay

$18.25 to $20.00 per hour to start, depending on sewing experience. Wage review after three months once you are trained on the dry cleaning side.
